Local SEO Research is a private, local command-line workflow. This policy explains how it uses optional Google Search Console and Google Analytics connections. The public pages on this site do not display Google account data or reports.
What we access
After the operator grants consent, the workflow receives read-only access to Search Console data for verified sites and Google Analytics reports available to that Google account. It requests only the webmasters.readonly and analytics.readonly OAuth scopes. It does not request permission to modify Google properties.
Why we use it
The operator uses Search Console queries, pages, clicks, impressions, and positions to understand search visibility. They use Analytics landing-page sessions and users to understand site activity. These are separate measurements used to guide research and site improvements.
Where data is kept
OAuth credentials are kept in the operator's 1Password account and exposed to the local command only through safe-cli. API results are returned to the operator's local terminal; the operator may save reports in private local files or record selected research findings in a private repository. Credentials and account exports are not stored in this public-info repository or published on this site.
Sharing and retention
Google account data is not sold or used for advertising. When the operator asks an authorized coding assistant to analyze a report, the selected data may be processed by that assistant's provider under the operator's account settings. The operator keeps saved reports only while needed for research and can delete those local copies. Cloudflare serves these public pages but does not receive Google reports through this site.
Control and contact
The operator can revoke this app's Google access in their Google Account and remove its credentials from 1Password and safe-cli. For questions about this workflow or its data, use the support email shown on its Google consent screen.
